Call for Paper / Call for Paper / Call for Paper * An Invitation Chung-Ang University, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, is pleased to invite researchers, policy-makers and design engineers from academia, industry and governmental agencies to participate in the 6th International Symposium on Environmental Geotechnology and Global Sustainable Development. The Symposium will be held in Seoul, Korea in 2002(July 2-5; Chung-Ang University Art Center). The organizing committee hopes to present many oral presentations and posters as possible. This Symposium will welcome all the specialists and experts in the domains of ecosystem and site characterization, site remediation techniques and management, waste containment and site improvement, geotechnical problems and solutions, risk assessment and sustainable development, and provide a general vision of the latest results in R&D and in the field of know-how and experience gained on site. Researchers and participants, interested in scientific and technical aspects or in practical and management aspects, will have the opportunity to take part in fruitful exchanges. We will spare no efforts to make a success of this 6th Symposium in order for the participants to gather information and knowledge on the latest progress and breakthroughs and to exchange views on possible solutions to the issues specified above.
